How it all started
When I was looking for a preschool for my daughters, I dreamed of a place rooted in hands-on, self-paced learning where Spanish was spoken with joy, and nature was part of the classroom. I wanted a space that honored movement, curiosity, connection, and culture. But despite years of searching through each of my pregnancies, I couldn’t find anything like that in our community.
As a teacher with more than eight years of experience, a background in educational leadership, and a deep love for the Spanish language and diverse cultures, I realized this dream school didn’t exist—yet. So I decided to create it.
As a mother of three girls, I built this Montessori school with family and community at its heart. I believe in nurturing not just the child, but the whole family. Every student and every parent is deeply valued here, and my greatest hope is that families love this school as much as I do.
Education has always been an integral part of my life. My mother and older sister are both teachers, and growing up surrounded by their passion for teaching inspired me to pursue a similar path.
I’ve always been drawn to the idea of teaching, but I’ve also come to cherish the opportunity to learn from children. Becoming a mother has deepened my desire to support my child’s natural curiosity and allow him to learn and grow at his own pace. I want to be a gentle guide along the way, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
When I discovered Montessori education, I felt a profound connection to its principles. It aligns perfectly with my beliefs about what children need—a calm and thoughtful learning environment, the freedom to explore, and a meaningful connection with their surroundings. It’s the kind of school I would want for my own child.
Although my baby isn’t school-aged yet, being involved in the creation of a school based on this philosophy gives me a sense of purpose. I’m excited to contribute to the development of an environment where children feel respected, supported, and motivated to learn. I want to create a community where families feel a sense of belonging and purpose.
